STATISTICS OF LACK OF EDUCATION
Nearly 4 million kids were unable to enroll for the current school year, according to data from the Department of Education (DepEd). ... According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, 3.53 million of the estimated 39.2 million Filipinos aged 6 to 24 years old were classified as OSYs in 2017.

An estimated 140 million young minds have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. UNICEF calls for a phased reopening of schools, beginning in low-risk areas. The Philippines is one of the five countries in the world that has not started in-person classes since the pandemic began. The number of years a child spends in school directly affects their future earnings. The World Bank estimates a loss of $10 trillion in earnings over time for this entire generation of students if we do not address the issue of access to education through the internet and tele-schooling.
UNICEF urges governments to reopen schools for in-person learning as soon as possible. Education investments in education support economic recovery, growth and prosperity. UNICEF will continue to mobilize its partners and the public to prevent this education crisis from becoming an education catastrophe.

POVERTY
-
Poverty can be viewed as a major cause of illiteracy and educational inequality. Children from low-income families frequently do not receive a proper education because it is simply too expensive for their families to send them to school. Furthermore, these children are frequently required to work instead of attending school in order to contribute to the family income and financially support their family members.
LAZINESS
-
When it comes to educational inequality, laziness may also play a role. Some people have a stronger desire to learn and grow than others. People who lack this drive to learn and progress may struggle in school because they lack motivation to achieve good grades in order to attend university later in life. If the desire to learn is extremely limited, this may also result in a serious lack of education.

DISABILITIES
-
Children with special needs, particularly in poor countries, are more likely to receive insufficient education because their parents frequently do not have enough money to send all of their children to school. In order to secure the family income, these parents will frequently select a family member who has the best chances of academic success. As a result, disabled children prefer to stay at home rather than attend school.

INSUFFICIENT SOCIAL AID
-
Many countries lack or provide insufficient social assistance and welfare. If people become unemployed, they may not be eligible for government financial assistance. Assume you have children and you lose your job. You will most likely no longer be able to afford your children's tuition fees, which may result in a lack of education for your children.

NATURAL DISASTERS
-
When it comes to a lack of education, natural disasters may also play a role. When natural disasters such as tsunamis or other disasters strike a region, the people who live there will suffer from widespread destruction of public infrastructure. Natural disasters may also cause serious health problems for them. Schools and other educational facilities may have been destroyed, making it difficult for children to receive a proper education under these dreadful conditions.
CAUSES OF LACK
OF EDUCATION
EFFECST OF LACK OF EDUCATION

UNEMPLOYMENT
-
Unemployment is significantly increased by a lack of education. Companies will most likely screen your education level if you apply for a job. You are unlikely to get the job if you do not have a sufficiently high level of education. Furthermore, if you have a low education level and become unemployed, you will have a difficult time finding another suitable job.

HOMELESSNESS
-
A lack of education can also be a cause of homelessness If people lose their jobs and are unable to pay their rent, they may find themselves homeless. Because the likelihood of unemployment rises with a low level of education, so does the likelihood of homelessness.

LOW SALARY
-
Because the wage for a job is often determined by the demand and supply of skills, low levels of education often imply a low salary. Workers with low skill levels are easily exploitable by companies that want to maximize profits and will therefore pay their workers a very low wage.

DEPENDENCE
-
Inequality in education can also lead to significant dependence of various kinds. If you have a low level of education, you will most likely require financial or other assistance in order to carry out important tasks in your daily life. Dependence, in any form, will almost always be detrimental to the dependent person's life because it gives others the power to treat the dependent person poorly.

POVERTY
-
Many studies have found a strong positive correlation between poverty and a lack of education. Because poor families may be unable to send their children to school, these children may face significant educational inequality. However, poverty is not only a cause of a low level of education; it can also be an effect of insufficient education, as a poor education often translates into an increased likelihood of unemployment and low wages.
TIPS AND SOLUTION
The negative side of life will always be there, but only until you choose to rip it up and do those things you knew would allow you to see the bright side.
Productivity
-
We must be productive in education, but how can we do so? To pursue things such as education, we must first have motivation and goals in order to be productive and complete the task.
-
Productivity describes how the person uses his or her capabilities to do work or tasks.
Willingness
-
In education, we must be willing to learn and be educated. We must enjoy what we do so that the task will be as simple as doing what we enjoy.
-
Willingness means being consistent or readiness of something and you are prepared to do it.
Time Management
-
We can't avoid running out of time while studying, which is why time management is one of the most important aspects of education. It ensures that you can complete your tasks properly.
-
Time Management is a process of planning or taking control of your time spent on your tasks, works, or activities to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
No One Should Left Behind
-
We should constantly keep in mind that no one should be left behind when it comes to education. We may be late in some processes, but it does not excuse us from attending school and learning new things. Everyone has the right to receive an education. Because education is our source or the key to our success and can make us the better version of ourselves.
DISADVANTAGES
Don't look back and take a step ahead since we live for the future, not the past, and those are only lessons, not a lifetime burden.
-
Lack of Representation - not having an education can cause major effects on a person.
-
Unemployment - many people don't have jobs. Without education, many people will suffer.
-
Promotes Exploitation - without education people will desperately find jobs that are dangerous. It can include sweatshop labor, prostitution, and child marriage.
-
Difficulty Raising Children - Uneducated parents face issues such as being unable to assist their children with their homework or not knowing how to assist them in reaching their full potential.
-
Poverty Trap - The inability to escape poverty due to a lack of resources is referred to as the poverty trap. This can also lead to an intergenerational poverty gap, which means that the children of those who are already impoverished are more likely to be at risk as well. Education allows people to gain access to the knowledge they need to make a living. It is difficult to escape the trap without it.
LACK OF EDUCATION |
WHY IS STILL HAPPENING?
Education is a basic human right, period, no matter what kind of background one comes from. However, statistics are still at an all time high for those who are victim to receiving poor, or even worse, no education at all. How can this be happening in the world today? What can we do to solve this issue? There is no speedy solution, but by creating awareness and gradually making changes, we can begin to take steps towards making a difference.
WE’RE DESENSITIZED
One of the unfortunate facts is that many of us have become desensitized to the images and articles we see on a daily basis. Television commercials and social media can be both a curse and a blessing: they get the word out there, but after seeing countless campaigns, we often want to switch off from it all because it's either too heartbreaking, or worse, it no longer has an impact.
LACK OF TEACHERS
-
The consequences of poor teachers are a truly vicious cycle; however, providing a better education requires a lot of funding, and in some countries, this money simply does not exist. So, what happens to the money you donate to charity?
FUNDING
-
Funding for education is a huge issue in many parts of the world, and it is not improving. Corruption, along with other factors, means that money and funding for education in a variety of countries is, to put it bluntly, a quick fix. Long-term solutions must be developed through raising awareness and, coincidentally, educating people on the true issues at hand.
DISCRIMINATION
-
It would be incorrect to simply swoop in and declare that another system is flawed. Another issue we must address is how to achieve this slow and steady progress. We are progressing toward change by setting examples of the amazing outcomes of equitable and widespread education. There are still many countries that will not provide an education to a person based on their gender, values, ideologies, disabilities, and so on.
